Fully Funded Scholarship in Romania: No Application Fees

The Government of Romania, through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, grants several scholarships to nationals from non-European Union (EU) countries, every year. The scholarships are fully funded for the defined length of the selected program, and are awarded for undergraduate and graduate studies (Masters and PhD). It is required that the Bachelor’s and Master’s degree programs are taken in Romanian language only, while PhD programs have an option for English language and other foreign languages defined by the program. Successful applicants to the Bachelor’s and Master’s degree programs will be given free Romanian language preparation for the first year. There are several courses from different academic disciplines to choose from, except programs from Pharmacy, Dental Medicine and Medicine.

Required Application Documents:

  • Academic Transcripts from previous studies
  • Certificates from previous studies
  • Birth Certificate
  • Scanned copy of Passport (travel document)
  • Curriculum Vitae
  • Letter of Intent (for PhD applicants)

  •  Submit a complete application
  • Obtain ‘Good’ results (confirm from the Romanian scoring system)
  • Comply with application deadline and submission requirement

  • Wait for decision on your application (this will be communicated via email on 15 July 2022).

  • Application deadlines: Opens from December 20, 2021 and ends on March 15, 2022.
  • Results will be announced on 15 July 2022 via email
  •  Scan all documents separately and save them in pdf formats
  • There are NO scholarships available for courses from Pharmacy, Dental Medicine and Medicine
