To eligible for the University of Otago Doctoral Scholarship 2022, applicants must: 

• Be enrolled or enrolling in a Doctoral Program at the University of Otago
• Be an International Student or a domestic student 
• have very good grades from previous studies
• The scholarship is highly competitive and awarded based on merit

How to Apply for the 2022 Scholarships in New Zealand for International Students

• There is no deadline for the Scholarship, however, applicants must apply to the preferred PhD program before the program deadline.  
• Applications for the scholarship can be made online through the University of Otago’s online portal after applying for admission into a program. 
• Once an application has been submitted through the online portal, applicants will receive an invitation with instructions to apply for the scholarship.
